If the Bread Winner Summit is on your calendar but you're not sure how to make the most of it, you're not alone. Maybe you’ve signed up and are starting to feel a little overwhelmed. Or maybe you’re wondering how you’ll squeeze in the sessions around your kids, your bakes, and everything else.
This guide is for you. Whether you’re joining live or planning to catch the replays, here’s how to approach the summit with intention, so you walk away with clarity, focus, and a plan that actually fits your life.
Start with One Question
Before the summit even begins, ask yourself this:
What’s the one thing I want to walk away with?
You don’t need to show up for everything. You just need to know what’s most important to you. It might be clarity around pricing. A better system. A shift in mindset. Whatever it is, write it down.
That one question will help guide your time and energy. It’ll also help you decide what to watch live, what to catch later, and what you can let go of.
Use the Schedule Strategically
You’ll get a full summit schedule with titles, speakers, and themes ahead of time. Don’t wait until the day of to figure it out.
Instead:
Print the schedule or have it open in front of you.
Highlight the sessions that speak to the goal you wrote down.
Make a plan for which sessions to attend live, and which ones you’ll catch later.
Don’t feel like you need to do it all. Focus on what matters to you in this season of business.
Create a Little Margin
Build in some space before and after the sessions you attend.
That could look like:
Sitting quietly for five minutes before a session to get grounded
Taking a short walk or moving your body after watching
Leaving time to process and jot down thoughts
Creating margin allows you to absorb what you’re learning instead of rushing from one thing to the next.
How to Take Notes You’ll Actually Use
Instead of writing everything down, focus your notes on three simple prompts:
What stood out to me?
What do I want to try?
What do I need to follow up on?
Write just one or two lines under each. That’s it. You’ll walk away with notes that are actually actionable and not overwhelming to revisit.
What If You Can’t Attend Live?
It’s okay. Really.
If your week is full or you miss a session, that doesn’t mean you’ve “missed” the summit. All sessions will be available on replay through Sunday night, and if you have the All-Access Pass, you can revisit them anytime.
Use the replay window to:
Watch one or two sessions that align with your top priority
Catch the intro and closing sessions—they’re designed to help you get grounded and take action
Listen on the go if needed (watching is great, but it’s not the only way to take it in)
Build in Accountability
You don’t need to implement everything the week after the summit—but it helps to have a small next step.
Here are a few ways to stay accountable:
Set a calendar reminder to revisit your notes one week after the summit
Email yourself your top three takeaways
Ask a bakery friend if they want to debrief or swap notes with you
Share your takeaway on Instagram and tag @carolinebower_sourdough
Little touchpoints like these can help you carry the momentum forward without pressure.
Final Thoughts
The Bread Winner Summit isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about helping you sort through what matters, what you want, and what your next right step is.
You don’t have to do it all. You just have to show up in a way that feels right for you.
