You started with a love for baking.
And somewhere along the way, it became a business.
Now you’re balancing production, orders, pricing, messaging, and real life all at once. And most of the advice out there doesn’t quite fit this kind of work.
So you piece things together as best you can.
But piecing things together is not the same as building something stable.
The Bread Winner Summit is designed to help you move out of that cycle.
This is a two-day virtual event for sourdough bakers who want to operate with more clarity and less guesswork.
Inside the summit, you’ll learn how to:

Set pricing that supports your business and your household
Build simple systems that reduce stress and save time
Create steadier, more predictable income
Clarify your message so the right customers understand your value
Make decisions based on what actually works, not what you’ve seen online

I joined almost every session of the inaugural 2025 Bread Winner Summit - expertly curated, organized and executed by
Caroline Bower; it was the perfect accompaniment to busy prep days in my home-based cottage bakery. At the time I
was approaching my 2 year mark, and despite having an extensive background in business management and operations,
running a solo-producer-product-based-food-business was (and still is at times) overwhelming. Caroline’s panel of
speakers addressed nearly every facet of our niche, and countless opportunities not yet considered. The best part,
however? Feeling less isolated and alone - as is the curse of a solo-baker with odd hours.
What Caroline has, and continues to, build is impactful, impressive and immensely valuable to our growing niche industry.
We each have our own, unique way of operating (much like our starters), but community and nourishment is at the core of
what we all do. A massive thanks to Caroline for shedding light and celebrating our work!

Frequently asked questions
Hi, I’m Caroline.
In 2023, I started my sourdough bakery from my home kitchen with about $80 and a whole lot of determination.
What I didn’t have was a clear roadmap for how to grow it into something stable.
So I learned through experience. Through long days, mistakes, adjustments, and figuring out what actually works in a real bakery.
Over time, I built a business that supports my household, works with my life, and serves my community.
I'm passionate about building profitable, sustainable, burnout-proof businesses.
As a mom of two, I believe we're shaping the future for the generation we're raising, and it's our responsibility to steward our businesses wisely.
The Bread Winner Summit is the resource I wish I had earlier, and I'm honored to support sourdough entrepreneurs around the globe.
