Vision casting is more than just dreaming—it’s about creating a clear, inspiring picture of the future you want to build. In this blog post, I’m sharing 16 powerful questions from the second episode of The Bread Winner Podcast’s 2025 planning series. These prompts will help you imagine what’s possible for your sourdough microbakery and set the stage for actionable goal-setting in the year ahead.
1. Big Picture Vision
Imagine it’s December 2025, and your bakery had its best year yet. What does your life look like because of your business success? What’s changed for your family, your customers, or your community?
What’s one milestone that would make you feel, “This was the year everything clicked”? How would reaching it transform your bakery and your life?
If you could choose three words to define your business in 2025, what would they be? Why?
2. Personal Alignment
How do you want your bakery to support your life, not just financially but emotionally and physically? Does it give you flexibility, connection, or creativity?
If your customers could describe the heart of your business, what would you want them to say? What values or experiences do you want your bakery to reflect?
What would balance look like for you as a baker and as a person? What would need to shift to achieve that?
3. Ideal Day & Workflow
Describe your dream workday. How many hours are you baking? How much time do you spend on marketing, admin, or connecting with customers?
What tasks or routines would you let go of in 2025 if you could? What would you focus on instead?
What’s one thing you wish you had more of in your daily bakery life—time, help, joy? How could you create that?
4. Your Legacy and Impact
What difference do you want your bakery to make in your customers’ lives? How do you want them to feel when they eat your bread or interact with your brand?
How can your bakery contribute to your community in a way that aligns with your values—through partnerships, donations, or connections?
What would it mean for your family or loved ones if your bakery thrived in 2025?
5. Emotional Connection
What part of your bakery brings you the most joy or fulfillment? How can you amplify that in 2025?
What’s one part of your business that you feel a little nervous or uncertain about? How can you turn that into an area of growth or opportunity?
6. Anchoring Your Vision
If you could write a headline for your business success story at the end of 2025, what would it say?
What’s one tangible way you can remind yourself of your vision every day—a vision board, a written mission statement, or something else?
